Rodeo isn’t a trend or aesthetic, it is a way of life—long days filled with miles and miles on the road to get to the next rodeo. This is called the rodeo trail. A term that has been used for a while in the rodeo community. Austin Whitmore, owner of Cowboy Fresh, gave a new meaning to this term. The Rodeo Trail is “Not your granddad’s rodeo coverage!”. It is a social media platform that posts one-of-a-kind rodeo highlights.

It all started in 2017 when he joined social media to cover the California Rodeo Salinas. Whitmore worked on this team for three years doing interviews, videos, and rodeo coverage. He trademarked the name The Rodeo Trails in 2017 but did not know what he wanted to do with it. Through his experience working with the Salinas Rodeo, he knew he wanted to continue rodeo coverage. It wasn't until about 5 years later he started his own media company and channel. This would give him access to the chutes and rodeo contestants to bring view amazing content.

POVs and up-close shots are what make The Rodeo Trails unique. Courtney Judd is a partner of The Rodeo Trail. She captures amazing photos and videos for The Rodeo Trails and Cowboy Fresh. You can check out her personal Instagram to see more of her great work. Along with Judd’s photos, The Rodeo Trail captures up close and personal images and videos using special POV sunglasses with a camera on them. This shows viewers intense close-ups of all different rodeo events from angles you cannot see from the stands. . The Rodeo Trail covers rodeos from all over and gets you one-of-a-kind content that makes you feel like you are in the arena. If you love all things rodeo, this page is for you! You can keep up with The Rodeo Trail and more content on their Website, Instagram, and Tiktok!
