2022 Grand National Rodeo

81 years ago, the first-ever Grand National Rodeo was held. This October 7th and 8th the GNR came to the Cow Palace in Daly City California. This is the largest indoor rodeo in California with a venue that can hold 16,500 people.

The Grand National Rodeo offers events such as

  • Bareback Riding

  • Saddle Bronc Riding

  • Bull Riding

  • Tie- Down Roping

  • Team Roping

  • Steer Wrestling 

  • Barrel Racing

The Grand National Rodeo, Horse, & Stock Show was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2008. The GNR and Cow Palace have a long history. Here is a short video about how to Cow Palace and GNR came to be!
