Alcala’s Boots

Have you ever walked past a window or display and seen the perfect pair of boots? They could have been pink or red or black with little designs. They could have been knee high or just little ankle booties. They also could have been cowhide. If you have been dreaming of cowhide boots then Alcala’s Boots is the place for you. Not only do they carry boots but also mules, slides and more.

Linda Alcala grew up loving boots. Not only did she grow up loving boots but she also was raised within the family's western store in Chicago, Illinois called Alcala’s Western Wear. With a passion for boots and western style, Alcala’s boots came about to offer beautiful and comfortable cowhide boots and shoe options. Linda has always been up-cycling her western shirts and boots to add an edgy twist on western style. Their first collection was launched in 2016 with the goal of designing shoes for real women with real lives.

Not only are all of the options incredibly cute and stylish but it is a woman owned business by a mommy of two. Linda does nearly everything from designing to sourcing material and sells. She is truly a superwoman.

“Everything is possible, follow your dreams!” saya Linda Alcala when describing her business.

A typical day in the life of Linda consists of reinventing herself and making the business more present online. In this day and age an online presence is just about the most important marketing tool you could have. The ability of an online presence allows a business or individual to reach anyone. Lindas goals include gaining a personal connection to her audience through her boots and talking to them on a more personal level. Not only does she want to gain personal connections but she wants to get more opinions on upcoming designs.

Linda is a mother of two sweet girls, Alondra and Holly and is married to her husband Matt, who is in the exotic leather business. One piece of advice from Linda is that you should not wait 12 years to have your second baby. Your energy level will probably be a lot lower in your late 30’s than it was in your 20’s. She moved from Chicago to Dallas for her boots and to be at market to wholesale.

The quality, leather, design and service of Alcala’s boots is what sets them apart from other boot makers. The level of functionality, comfort and design will not leave you disappointed!
